Christopher DiPasquale PhD, PT, OCS, SCS, CHT

Chris graduated from Quinnipiac University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. At Quinnipiac he was a member of the Division III Hockey Team. In 1998 he earned a Master of Science in Allied Health and, in 2007, a PhD in Kinesiology from the University of Connecticut. He is specialty board certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) and Sports Physical Therapy (SCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. Dr. DiPasquale is active teaching graduate students in University of Connecticut Physical Therapy Program. In addition, he is a youth lacrosse program administrator, high school lacrosse and soccer referee, and soccer player.

James A. Ferland photo

James A. Ferland PT

A 1989 graduate of the University of Vermont with a BS in Physical Therapy, Mr. Ferland has an extensive background in neurology, orthotics and prosthetics, general rehabilitation as well as orthopedics. He brings extensive supervisory experience to the practice including his role in the outpatient physical therapy department at Gaylord Hospital. He supervises operations at our Colchester office and also serves as the associate administrator for our Medicare Rehabilitation Agency. He served as an adjunct professor at the University of Hartford, and is currently our coordinator of clinical education working with physical therapy students during their clinical internships. Mr. Ferland is trained in vestibular rehabilitation and is our specialist in the treatment of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo or BPPV.

Christine Bergeron PT

Ms. Bergeron is a 1993 graduate of the McGill University Program in Physical Therapy. After practicing three years at Rutland Regional Medical Center in Vermont she moved to Connecticut and has since worked in outpatient settings specializing in orthopedics. She has extensive post-graduate training in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University, and completed the orthopedic component of the Canadian School of Osteopathy in Montreal. As a native of Canada she grew up a competitive figure skater, and coached competitive figure skaters in Connecticut. She has additional background in ice dancing, ballet, Pilates and yoga, and is an active mountain biker and alpine skier. Ms. Bergeron practices full time in our Hebron office.

Rebecca C. Paquette DPT, OCS, MTC, CLT-LANA

A 2004 Master of Science graduate from the University of Connecticut physical therapy program, Dr. Paquette completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine in 2011. She is board certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and has a Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) from the University of St. Augustine. She is also specialty certified as a Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) by the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA). While at the University of Connecticut, Dr. Paquette was a member of the Varsity Rowing team. She has coached high school rowers and continues to row in the masters division of a local club.

Mark R. Skinner, DPT, MTC, CEAS

A 2000 Master of Science graduate of the University of Connecticut Physical Therapy Program, Dr. Skinner completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine in 2007. He has a Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) from the University of St. Augustine, and is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS) by the Back School of Atlanta. Mark has an extensive background in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He practiced full time with PPTSM from 2000 through 2003 where he had primary responsibility for the Hebron office and affiliated student athlete programs. He currently practices part time in our organization while also supervising and practicing full time in an occupational health physical therapy service.

Kayla R. Thibeault, DPT

Dr. Thibeault received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2009 and Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2011 from Springfield College. Her doctoral research examined the use of an orthotic garment for postural control in children with cerebral palsy. At Springfield College she was a member of the Physical Therapy Stroke group where she gained experience in post stroke rehabilitation. Her clinical affiliations included a sports medicine center, acute care hospital as well as a skilled nursing facility. As an undergraduate she played a year of Division I soccer at Manhattan College and three years of Division III soccer while at Springfield where she was an All American. She continues to play soccer year round.
